Megurine Luka V3

Megurine Luka Append;2010Megurine Luka is the next member of the character Vocal series to receive an append.
Wat confirmed he was considering an "aggressive Whisper" vocal for her.[1]In December 2010, tests were run on Luka's alpha expression voice. However, it was not as sexy as Wat had hoped.[2] Wat was also surveying the quality of the vocal.[3]Confirmation of production order was Meiko> Megurine Luka >> Kaito.[4]The first commercial use of the Luka Append is on the album "VOCALOID民族調曲集", she sings the song "星空と雪の舞踏会 (Zeal mix) / このり".[5] The VOCALO APPEND album later used beta voicebanks of Luka's Append.[6]Megurine Luka Append;2011In July, Wat reported that Meiko's and Luka's progress was coming along quietly.[7]In a twitter on the 12th July 2011, Wat mentioned doing test in relation to a Luka "Soft" append.[8]Wat tweeted on the 1st Dec 2011, noting that all previous demos had originally been rendered with theVOCALOID2 engine, and things were being redone for the VOCALOID3 engine.[9]A video with samples from the VOCALO APPEND album was uploaded on December 17, 2011.

At the time of her first announcement, it was unknown if Miku would be VOCALOID2 or VOCALOID3 [1]

On October 8, 2010, at the New York Comic-Con, Ito Hiroyuki (Crypton's CEO) announced that if Miku's Facebook page hits 39,390 "likes", an English voicebank will be developed. The project was termed "Project MIKUCASH". Miku's page has reached more than 1,000,000 "likes" on her Facebook page (run by Crypton staff). On the 17th of November, Wat mentioned he would be announcing more information in the future weeks. [2]

In December, Wat questioned if the vocal would be VOCALOID2 or VOCALOID3. [3]

Early on in the English voicebank announcement, Crypton Future Media made a point across they would not make a localized version of the software if it did not meet their expectations, or if it did not sound cute enough, they would cancel it. [4]

The alpha stage of development went under review the weekend of March 19, 2011. By then it was still far from the beta stage, [5] Crypton reported they would keep their fans up to date with its development and were aiming for a good, qualified English voicebank. Crypton also reported that they would like to do Miku English Appends in the future, however they have no specific plans right now. [6]

On May 28, 2011, demos of Kaito Append Whisper and Power along with Miku English were posted on Nico Nico Douga. This voicebank was only 40% complete and there is more development left to do, as noted by a number of native English fans her smoothness was lacking, but improvements had already been made from Luka's voicebank. [7] Wat had also mentioned previously that he would love to hear the expression change to "Dark" or "Sweet" in English. [8]

On July 2, 2011 a Beta version of Miku's English voicebank was used at the "MikuNopolis" concert in Los Angeles. It was used to enable Miku to address the audience and, with Luka, perform World's End Dancehall with English lyrics (although Luka sang most of the song). On October 16, a video was uploaded on YouTube showing Miku's English Voicebank with much improvement.

Nendoroid Snow Miku: Strawberry White Kimono Ver.

Snow Miku is visiting again this Winter, this time in a white kimono!

Designs for the 2013 Snow Miku were submitted by fans to the piapro website and then a winner was chosen by viewers during a NicoNico Live Broadcast. The winning entry was an illustration of Snow Miku with a slightly more mature air, wearing a beautiful white kimono - which has now been transformed into a Nendoroid!
Her cotton veil can be removed, and she comes with two different hair styles to choose from when it is removed - you can display her with either her trademark twintails, or instead with her hair tied up. Sitting parts are also included for a more relaxed pose, and she also comes a number of items for a snowy day, including an umbrella, a toothpick and a snow bunny.
